Once upon a time, when almost all people were farmers and lived close to the land, they read the evening news arched across the sky. Some people like me are still reading the stars late into the night.
I love seeing the correspondence between what is above and what is below. I never stop loving that. When people come to me with a lot on their minds, I show the natural cycles going on in all of our lives, and specifically in their own lives — it's a nice way to make sense of everything. I don't think we are victims of the rhythms; animals survive tsunamis as they are tuned into nature and know to get on higher ground. I like it when people feel empowered because they know what's going on in the sky and in their own chart, too.
Depending on the issues involved, I look at progressions, transits, solar returns, relocations as well as astrocartography — I handle each chart individually. I factor in classical bodies as well as some asteroids and centaurs. Afterward you receive your chart with a legend and possibly with some notes on images from the reading.
